Beasley was the leading point scorer for the Tigers as he competed in five events and qualified for state in the triple jump.

Childers was the wheelchair shot put state champ and also finished as runner-up in the 800 and 200 meter events.

Cameron Collins

Darlington

Collins placed in two events at the state meet. He was fifth in the 1600 and sixth in the 800. He was second in both at region.

Kyle Harris

Pepperell

Harris used his strength to earn a region championship and a second-place finish at state in the shot put.

Trebor Holmes

Rockmart

Holmes won the state title in the 110 hurdles with a 14.571. He has signed a scholarship to run for Shorter University.

Marcus Jackson

Pepperell

The multi-sport star ran to his second straight state championship in the 400. His fastest time was 48.493 in his senior season.

Donald Johnson

Model

Johnson was Model’s MVP as he ran to a fifth-place finish in the 800 meter at the state meet after winning the event at region.

Senorise Perry

Chattooga

The senior was the state and region champ in the long jump. Perry also finished second at state in the 100 meter dash.

Rashad Ramsey

Chattooga

The senior athlete swept the region and state championships in the triple jump. His best effort was a staggering 48-1.5.

Totherow was the Gordon County and region champ, and state runner-up in the pole vault. His senior season best was 13-7.

Justin Zachary

Zachary was sixth in the state in the long jump after finishing second at region behind the eventual state champion.

Carter was the region champ and finished third at the state meet in the discus. His best throw was 146.

Barrett capped her amazing career with her third straight state title in the 200. She also placed second in the state long jump and 400.

Darlene Chikezie

The sophomore was sixth at state in the triple jump. She also was on the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams that were both state-placers.

Laconia Davis

Davis placed fourth at state in the 100 hurdles after winning the event at the region meet by almost a second.

Sarah Jude

Jude took the region crown in the 300 hurdles by three seconds before finishing third at the state meet.

Kristen Little

Little placed second at state in the high jump with a 5-6 and eighth in the long jump with a 17-4 to lead the Lady Bulldogs.

The sophomore was region champ in the 1600 and 3200 and then placed eighth and sixth in the events at state.

The junior pole-vaulter was the region champion and then placed sixth at the state meet with a season best of 9-0.

The junior two-sport star Poole placed fourth at state and was second at region in the discus for the Lady Jackets.

Natalie Shoemaker

Shoemaker was region champ in the 800 and 1600 in her freshman season. She placed sixth and seventh in the events at state.

Taylor Simpson

Simpson won the high jump region title for the second straight year. She was third at state and seventh in the long jump.

Rome High

Starr was the region champ in the 300 hurdles and was runner-up in the long jump. She placed sixth and fifth in the state events.

Anna Swafford

Swafford finished third in state in the 300 hurdles and fourth in the 100 hurdles. She won region titles in both events.

London was the 100 meter dash region champion and finished eighth at state. She was also the region runner-up in the 200.

The junior was the region champ in the discus with and then placed third in the event at state with a throw off 111-9.

Haley Reynolds

As a freshman, Reynolds was the shot put region champion and then placed fourth at the state meet. She had a season best throw of 38-5.

Roberson was second behind her teammate Reynolds at region in the shot put and then placed fifth at state in the event.
