The senior quarterback threw for 182 yards — including a whopping 156 yards in the fourth quarter — to lead Pepperell to a 22-15 comeback win over Rockmart. Watters finished 13-for-24 with two TD passes, including the game-winner in overtime. He also ran for a seven-yard score.

Josh Smith

Unity Christian

Smith recorded a game-high 13 tackles while helping the Lions earn a 31-14 victory over the Bartow County Generals. Smith also aided Unity’s cause on offense, rushing eight times for 61 yards as the Lions, playing their first-year of varsity ball, earned their fourth win.
