Coosa coach Connie Guinn is a perfectionist —and her team is following suit.
By beating Temple 70-25 on Friday night, the Lady Eagles ended the regular season with a perfect record in the subregion and a perfect record on their home floor.
Hannah Graham and Robyn Foster scored 14 points apiece in the regular season finale for Coosa (21-2, 12-0), which will be the No. 1 seed from the South subregion at the region tournament.
Coosa will enter the tourney on a 14-game winning streak. The Lady Eagles have a bye to the quarterfinals, and will open tourney play on Thursday at Georgia Highlands.
Against Temple, the Lady Eagles celebrated Senior Night by racing out to a 45-9 halftime lead.
Ieshia Alexander finished with 11 points and Maya Boyett had 10 for the Lady Eagles, who improved to 9-0 at home.
Coosa is also undefeated in “true” road games. The Lady Eagles’ only two losses have occurred at neutral sites.

No. 7 Rome 61, Ridgeland 53
The Lady Wolves earned the No. 2 seed for the Region 7-AAAA tournament — and subsequently secured an automatic berth to the state tournament — by winning their regular-season finale on the road.
Tanisha Woodard scored 18 points, Keesha Wise had 15 and Eurise Elkins 12 for the Lady Wolves (22-3, 12-2), who are hosting next week’s 7-AAAA tourney.
Rome will get a bye to the semifinals, and will play on Friday at 4 p.m.
Darlington 74, Rockmart 15
Four Darlington seniors scored in double figures to help the Lady Tigers (11-13, 3-9) breeze to a win on Senior Night at the Huffman Center.
Senior Lauren Mauer scored 13 points and fellow senior Jenna Van Es had a season-high 12. Brittany Hightower and Sara Pate, also seniors, finished with 11 and 10, respectively.
Darlington, which led 49-9 at the half, will be the No. 5 seed from the South subregion at the 7-AA tourney, and will play on Tuesday night at GHC.
Rockmart will play Temple in today’s play-in game at GHC at 5:30 p.m.
NW Whit. 67, Gordon Central 35
Senior Night didn’t go well for the host Lady Warriors, who fell to 0-14 in Region 7-AAAA.
Shelby Morris scored 11 for Gordon Central (4-20) and Sara Talley had nine.
Central will play in the opening round of the 7-AAAA tourney at Rome High on Monday.
Cass 59, Cedartown 39
The visiting Lady Colonels opened the game on a 25-3 run and sailed to the Region 6-AAA win.
Cedartown (3-17, 1-13) was led by Kendra McCullough’s 10 points. Lydia Elkins added nine and Maddie Woodhouse seven.
Cedartown opens the 6-AAA tourney on Tuesday at Haralson County High.
Dade County 60, Sonoraville 29
The Lady Phoenix closed the regular season with a road loss.
Rachel McCarley had six points for Sonoraville, which will play Monday in the opening round of the 7-AA tourney at GHC.
Sonoraville (8-16, 1-9) will be either the fifth or sixth seed from the North subregion, pending a coin toss during today’s 7-AA coaches’ meeting. (Sonoraville is tied with Chattooga; both have one subregion win).
Adairsville 64, Chattooga 39
Raven Walker had 18 points, Nikita Trimble added 13 and Maci Pickens had 10 to send Adairsville (12-12, 5-5) to a road win in 7-AA North action.
Shadow Day had 10 for Chattooga (2-23, 1-9).
